Im curious. Where did you develop the idea "twinkling of an eye"
What does it mean to you?

it comes up often in the writings of the Baha'i Faith that this reality passes us swifter than the 'twinkling of an eye'. in that context it always seemed like such a compelling image.

so that's where i found it. to me... it often means a simultaneous fear (and thrill) that this will all be over soo soo soon. and, of course, that means we have to decide (each to their own) what to do with what we've got. (and to decide what exactly it is we've got)

hi jane.

Thats very interesting, Thank you. Where would I find Baha'i writings? Is it in a book comparable to the Qur'an or the Bible?

I've studied that phrase for some time and I still don't know what I think it means exactly.

Hello Q :) Your writing is beautiful.
